Shenzhen: City of the Future (Shenzhen: la ville la plus futuriste de Chine), meticulously shot in October 2024 by director Eric and cinematographer Charles’ team, captured over 600 hours of footage to authentically portray Shenzhen’s speed, innovation, and boundless potential. This 1-hour masterpiece surpassed 1 million views within three days of its release, revealing a modern, dazzling, and futuristic Shenzhen to French and global audiences.
After its premiere, the documentary sparked heated discussions across media platforms, with many hailing Shenzhen as "China’s most futuristic city!" French viewers marveled: "So this is what Shenzhen is really like!" Many French expats in Shenzhen also received screenshots from friends and family back home.
During the 2024 filming, director Eric and the crew visited DAS Intellitech, engaging in an in-depth conversation with Chairman Liu Bang, who shared his entrepreneurial journey of moving to Shenzhen 30 years ago. The team also filmed across DAS Tower’s floors and interviewed multiple employees, uncovering stories behind the company’s R&D.

The team showed particular interest in DAS Intellitech’s self-developed AIoT Platform, facial recognition interactive screens, and the lobby’s giant display.
During an interview, Chairman Liu Bang demonstrated the AIoT Platform on his phone:" Through this platform, we monitor elevator operations in real-time and display vacant floors available for lease."
The AIoT Platform, a proprietary 3D visual smart building hub, manages the entire DAS Tower. It optimizes energy use( reducing carbon emissions), adjusts AC temperatures, tracks real-time occupancy and parking availability, and employs AI algorithms for fault prediction and equipment diagnostics—cutting the building’s energy consumption by 25%.
DAS Intellitech has recently expanded globally. In November 2023, the Shenzhen-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Investment Forum was held at DAS Tower. In December 2023, Chairman Liu Bang was invited to Dubai for COP28, where he shared IoT-based low-carbon technologies. DAS Tower was named a "Top 10 Green & Low-Carbon Case in Shenzhen", highlighting the city’s tech innovation.
Additionally, DAS Intellitech established a subsidiary in Malaysia to oversee overseas ventures. By 2024, it achieved a milestone with its first overseas AIoT Platform deployment in Qatar.
